Large Boardroom

Challenge

Tie all the complexity of a large boardroom to an intuitive and easily modified control solution.

Solution

User Interface. There is simply too much going on in this setting for anything but a graphical user interface. The wall-mount RK3 touch panel is a great option that reduces tabletop clutter while also providing integrated fixed buttons. This networked panel takes full advantage of Calypso’s Pro I/O network architecture by sending simple hyperlink commands to the controller, triggering control functions as needed.
Control Everything! The Calypso Pro I/O Controller brings multiple serial, IR, relay and network-based control options to the room in a single, easy-to-configure platform. As with all Calypso controllers, no programming skills are required to set up the controller. Instead, the on-board “Event Database” can be configured through a browser connection. Within minutes, an experienced technician can configure the Pro I/O for projector, audio, video conferencing, DVD control and more.
Integrated Audio. The CA-1050 Pre-Amp from Calypso takes up to 4 audio inputs and passes line-level output to your amplifier of choice. With serial and IR controls, the 1050 ties fully integrated audio back to the RK3 interface, through the Pro I/O. In this example, the CA-1050 brings both source switching and volume control to a 70V PA Amplifier.
